This project is a collaboration between Art and Design students studying BioAesthetics and BioArt, the BioMedia Lab, and the Art±Bio Collaborative, and is being showcased in the 2021 Cambridge Science Festival.

Throughout April, Artists and Designers shared their artistic methods and creative journeys in making art about the natural history and biology of various plants, animals, and fungi, including corals, cicadas, pinnipeds, three-toed sloths and many more. From observations and questions to hypotheses, experiments, and the dissemination of results via a virtual Art+Biology exhibition on April 30th, join us to see how Artists and Designers bring an idea, inspired by biology and nature, to fruition - with everything that happens in-between!
