Week 4 Update
This past week, I have been working on research and narrowing down my final images. I have selected three and finished them. I began by painting a base layer of paint down, and I have done more sketches for my final parts of the series. Shown is a single peony, a Japanese peony, and the fruit of a peony.
Attached below is photos of almost finished paintings in the series as well as a time-lapse documenting the process of painting the Japanese Peony (seen left).
