Growing Stages
I hope to create a project using acrylic paint on wood board to show the phases of growth in a flower. Starting from seed in soil all the way to a bloomed flower, the anatomy will be labeled and each stage. The goal is to highlight the complexities that come together to create the beauty of peonies.
Fun Fact: Peonies need at least 400 hours of temps below 40 degrees in order to bloom in the spring. This is why they don’t grow well in warmer climates.
