The Distinct Underbite: Week 3

Hello! Hope you all are doing well.

Recently discovered a blunder in my first blog, there are actually 20+ species of Barracuda, not 15. Glad I caught onto that relatively early on.

Over the weekend, I created a google docs folder identifying around 15-20 Barracuda species, recently finding out there's in total 25-28 species of Barracuda. However, I found there was a limited amount of information on certain types of Barracudas compared to others, so I went with the ones I found more consistent information on.

On Saturday, I did 3-4 hours of research to create a pDF of all my finding's in identifying multiple species of barracuda by their appearance in size, coloring, distinct traits, eating habits, behaviors, location, and alternative names for each species.    The main conclusion on all species is by size, weight and color.

Here, I have my setup that shows how I was doing my research. Information on one, writing down bullet points on the other. Currently figuring out how to attach a PDF for everyone to view the information I researched. Had about almost 6 full pages of bulleted research on 12-15 barracuda species, some more informative than others.

Up top, I have my sketches for the flashes I will be making. I have come across a challenge and that is simply, time. My style of work is usually very detailed with a lot of line work, I am hoping to get done at least the line work of all my illustrations and have them presented in a nice manner. Wish me luck and I will continue posting more of my progress as time goes on!
