I am an aspiring photography teacher. I hope to first get my BFA in Photography, then get my Masters in Teaching. I grew up in Andover, and before attending MassArt, I attended Andover High School where I spent as much time as I could in art classes. Aside from art, I love cooking, and being out in nature. My favorite place in nature is the beach, and I love to go out sailing.
Project - Snakes and Their Venom
I would like to focus on identifying factors of venomous and non venomous snakes and how to identify them. I would also like to add in elements of snakes and any copycats, such as the Coral Snake and the Scarlet Kingsnake. Growing up in New England I was never really taught what to avoid when looking at snakes, due to the fact that venomous are not common. I would like to make an easy guide for people to follow for things to be weary of. I also want to focus on non venomous snakes, to show what types of snakes people can enjoy and maybe even be good as pets. In this project I plan on making ink and watercolor diagrams showing differences between venomous and non venomous snakes, and also plan on making 3D models out pf sculpey and wire.
