Heya! My name is Caroline and I’m a senior illustration student at MassArt. I love to create colorful crowded scenes with bright colors and a playful, sometimes silly atmosphere. I especially love to create worlds inhabited by all different types of characters and creatures, both real and imaginary. Here are some of my past works! Ok let's get to it, The Project
For my project, I intend to create artwork about the leafy seadragon. I’m not certain what form this work will take at this time, maybe an illustration with some subtle animation incorporated into it, or even a mini-comic. The leafy seadragon has been one of my favorite animals for a long time after I first saw one at the New England Aquarium. From a purely aesthetic standpoint, I love animals as well as plants so an animal that has evolved to resemble a plant fascinates me. I think these animals are very beautiful to look at, but I also want to learn more about them.
