Hello and welcome back! I hope you enjoyed my introduction post,
and I hope you're excited to learn more about this wonderous little bug!
Today I intend to delve into just how many different species there are within the Mantidae family!
Did you know that there are over 2000 different species of mantis? Incredible, isn't it?
The Mantidae family is truly so diverse,
it's honestly mind-blowing just how different they all are!
Some resemble beautiful flowers,
Can you find the mantis in this photo?
and some can pass themselves off as just piece of tree bark!

I couldn't pick just one species to create a piece about!
They come in all shapes and sizes, and I plan to incorporate this into my piece by utilizing different collage materials to depict just all of the colors, patterns, shapes and sizes this incredible creature can be seen in! My plan for the next week is to begin collecting materials to collage with:)
