This is the final set of images for the easel project. The idea was to bring the easel across the island as a way of showing the potential that it can have to serve as a "sculptural intervention" something that makes people stop and consider the content that is being shown. As it is now, the infographic exists as a digital copy and will be sent out across social media. By the time that summer rolls around I hope to have printed this infographic and it will be shown on the easel nearby the beaches that allow cars onto them. This will serve the population of Piping plovers on Martha's Vineyard as well as offering the community an interesting and informative way of spreading this information to our summer residents. All in all it was a great success and has helped me develop both as an artist and a member of my local community. Thanks to all who have kept up to date with my blog and I hope that one day you can see a flourishing community of piping plovers for yourself!
