Allegory to resettlement - Ernesto Carrero

Allegory to resettlement - Ernesto Carrero

For my last blog entry, I decided to make a video with all the images I gathered for this project and made a short video. It wasn’t easy to photograph under UV light. So, I am putting all of them, good and bad, dark and clear, and at the end it shows the final edited results summarizing the process.

If you had the opportunity to read my other posts you probably learned some cool info about the origins of the orange, the citrus wizard of Florida (Lue Gim Gong); how to identify a male/female monarch butterfly and their journey throughout three countries, Mexico, USA and Canada; as well as why a substance fluoresces under UV light.

The final results are a proposal for you to find beauty in humanity’s connection with nature. How all of us can be an orange or/and a butterfly. We are all migrants. And humans are always in motion.
